If I had to do it again, here are 10 suggestions I’d consider if I were starting a plant-based diet. And what I mean by plant-based is not that you’re going “vegan” but that you’re going to start basing your dishes around foods that come from plants. Significantly scale down food that comes from animals. 

This should give you a better idea of what you’ll learn, what you should pay attention to, and how much you’ll need to be committed to this lifestyle change.

When I started to eat plant-based, I had no idea what I was doing. I didn’t even know there were cooking plans I could take that would help me get set up for success. However, I think when you live with a significant other, it’s challenging because they may not be completely on board with you and since this is what you primarily do together, changing your diet could end up bringing more havoc than good.
